The British Botanical Tour
Trip Description:
Join the women of Wildcrafted Adventures for a curated tour of some of England’s most famous botanical sites, while exploring your own creativity along the way.
We will gather in London, starting our journey together with a welcome dinner and an introduction to creative travel journaling practices. We will spend the next few days exploring some of London’s most famous sights, indulging in delicious faire, and sharing in cultural experiences. We’ll also spend a day at the world famous Kew Gardens with a traditional afternoon tea experience.
We’ll travel to Edinburgh, Scotland for the second half of the trip. In addition to spending a day at the Royal Botanical Gardens, we’ll see many of the most famous sights in Edinburgh. We’ll have an opportunity for the outdoorsy folks in the group to hike to the top of an ancient, extinct volcano, Arthur’s Seat, for amazing views of the city and of the North Sea. There will be whisky to taste, haggis to sample (if you dare), tartans to admire, and bagpipes piping as the soundtrack to our journey. Plus: beautiful, spooky cemeteries!
Along our journey, there will be opportunities to explore various creative and spiritual practices, including watercolor travel journaling and meditation.
There will be between 6-12 women participating in the trip, plus your two hosts/guides

8 nights of hotel accommodations - regular tickets are for a shared room with two beds (we will pair you with a roommate unless you specify one when you sign up); private rooms are available for an additional fee

What’s included:
Airfare - we will arrive in London and end the trip in Edinburgh (so you can choose to arrive early for more time in England, and/or stay after the trip ends for more time in Scotland)
Transportation from the airport to the hotel upon arrival, and from the hotel to the airport upon departure (we can advise on the various options, though!)
Some of your meals - we will have free time on certain days where you can choose where to eat
