“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
— Mary Oliver
We’re here to take you on an adventure.
By some miraculous coincidence of chemistry, fate and mystery, each of us is a collection of energy and cells that became animated, sentient, and imaginative. All while hurtling through the vastness of space on this beautiful rock we call Earth.
We are literally made of stardust.
If we’re not making the most of every fleeting moment in our brief, miraculous lives to love, laugh, and explore, then what are we even doing here?
We founded Wildcrafted Adventures to help women connect with their innately creative spirits while exploring the world.
Hello! We are Honey and Brandi, the women behind Wildcrafted Adventures.
We founded Wildcrafted Adventures on a warm summer day in 2025. Brandi had just returned from a hiking trip in Alaska, and was reflecting on the camaraderie of the women on her trip, which inspired her to revisit an idea she had in 2019: to bring women together for a botanical tour of Great Britain. Honey mentioned that she had recently been considering leading retreats again - something she has a lot of experience in but had been on the back burner for the last few years.
As we talked about these dreams, we realized our visions had a lot of overlap: we’re both avid travelers, we love creativity and personal exploration, and we’re both excited about bringing women together for creative, intentional travel experiences.
Our particular pairing makes so much sense, as our friendship has been defined by crafting and community. After meeting through a friend in 2022, we formed a women's social group for creative small business owners. We've been getting together regularly with our cadre of crafty ladies for trivia and art nights ever since. In 2025, we attended the Craftcation Conference together, where we spent 5 days with about 500 women, making art, learning business skills, and building community.
We are so excited to help you indulge in your creativity while we take you on amazing journeys in different parts of the world. Hope to see you on our next Adventure!
Our Story
Meet the Team
Brandi Chalker
Brandi Chalker caught the travel bug when she was 20, when she packed up a suitcase and headed to Europe for 6 weeks alone, with only a hint of an itinerary.
Despite moving constantly during her childhood, her travel experience was limited. In her childhood, travel consisted mainly of multiple cross-country road trips with her mom, and car camping most summers. So flying to Europe solo, without a smart phone (they didn’t exist yet!) was equally terrifying and thrilling. She learned to navigate through loneliness and social anxiety, all while taking in the awe-inspiring sights, sounds, and foods of the 7 countries she trekked through over a 6 week period.
In her 20’s, Brandi fell in love with Scotland on a whirlwind trip during a school break; spent months traveling and couchsurfing throughout the U.S. in a converted school bus; explored Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia; spent time in Mexico interviewing NGO’s and activists; and spent a summer working in tourism in Alaska.
In her mid 20’s and into her 30’s, she settled into entrepreneurship, opening a Fair Trade store (Urban Bazaar) in San Francisco in 2010 and a houseplant & home decor store (Flourish) in Petaluma in 2017. She’s also been teaching creative botanical workshops since 2011, and is currently launching a small business consulting and bookkeeping business.
In the last few years, Brandi has gone on many trips like the ones she’s now planning for Wildcrafted Adventures - art retreats in Oaxaca and Peru to learn weaving techniques from indigenous women; backpacking and kayaking in Alaska; road trips to Southern California for arts & crafts retreats. She’s excited to finally be the one to make these trips happen for others, to gather people together for these special experiences, and to get to know other Wild Women.

Honey Grace Lopez
Honey Grace Lopez is a NeuroTransformational Coach, Yoga Teacher, Holistic Chef, and Founder of Nourish. Honor. Play.®, a Whole Being Self-Care approach to aligning with one’s truest self. Her self-discovery workshops and retreats support others in building resilience, walking their heart-led path, and falling deeply and joyfully in love with their whole selves so they can move confidently toward their wildest dreams.
As a chef, Honey has trained in kitchens around the world, from culinary school in the south of France where she first studied cooking, to a 100-acre organic farm and school in Ireland, to southern Italy where she deepened her passion for simple, ingredient-driven cuisine. She has studied Ayurvedic and vegan cooking, rolled croissants at a world-renowned bakery, and managed the pasta room of a high-end restaurant that earned a Bib Gourmand. Her greatest culinary passion is pasta making - “crafting with food” - and she now spends much of her time teaching students throughout the North Bay how to create beautiful, restaurant-quality pasta at home.
A wanderer at heart, Honey’s love of travel began in childhood: digging for clams on California beaches, snorkeling in Hawaii, living aboard a houseboat in Bodega Bay, and chasing a solar eclipse through Mexico, all before the age of ten. She has since traveled extensively and continues to seek new lands, guided by a deep curiosity and reverence for the world.
Her growing desire to create opportunities for women to explore the world together inspired Wildcrafted Adventures. For those feeling the call toward adventure, creativity, and connection, Honey warmly welcomes you to join her on this journey - you belong here.
About Honey
When we say “women,” who do we mean?
Our journeys are designed for a broad spectrum of women—cisgender, transgender, and gender-expansive folks who were assigned female at birth. We believe travel is most meaningful when everyone feels seen, respected, and able to show up as their full, authentic selves. Creating an affirming space is at the heart of Wildcrafted Adventures.
We also know that not every travel environment is right for every person. Our trips are intentionally inclusive and rooted in the values of respect, belonging, and curiosity about the world and one another. If this approach doesn’t reflect what you’re looking for in a travel experience, we might not be the right fit for you. Our priority is cultivating a community where all who join us can feel truly at home.
